I just ordered 3 jebao powerheads for my 125g long mixed reef. I currently have 1 mp10, 1 mp40, and 2 aqueon 1250gph .

I started out thinking the vortechs would be enough to move the current along my 6 foot long tank, but the mp 40 only really pushes about 4 feet... I guess the vortechs just werent what i was expecting.

... So hopefully these jebaos will pick up the slack, and I'm not just throwing money at my tank for fun. (which i do love to do, but only with frags)

I will let you guys know how it goes once I get them installed and going. :D

What site did you order the Jebao from?

Fish street? Is that a site or a local?

I tried ordering them from fish-street, which is located in china, lol but my bank wouldnt have it. I ordered them from fragtasticreef.com which is located here in the U.S.

Yup, fragtastic reef will be getting them in in a couple weeks. From the way it looks though there isn't a warranty no matter who you order from, but at less than a $100 it's prolly worth the risk;)

FYI, He(Garrett at FR) will most likely be bringing in the wp-25's as well but from what he told me they might still be in the $70-$80 range....

3 on a 125 may be a bit much... I run 2 on my 180 anx tnere is some serious flow.. I run ome in else mode and one i. W1

We did a group buy for them straight from the manufacture they cost us $60 each shipped!!

I have a 8'x2'x12" frag tank and one rocked it so hard on wave mode I put the other on the opposite end and put it on the straight current mode to try and calm the wave down which is almost to much flow in there still

... I think you may have just convinced me to keep my MP40s

I think it may be to early to say that but I am going let others test these pumps before they go on my tank or in my house for that matter
