Fish-Street.com does warrant the product (1 year I believe).
The only thing I know companies won't warrant is the night sensor.

I've had mine in a 55 gallon for over a month now. I ordered it on 3/22 and it arrived on 3/29. 7 days including weekends.

I've had no major problems with it. I was one of the first few that had an issue with the power cable not working. Fish-Street refunded $5 for the cost of the power cord and told me to use a standard computer/printer power cord. It worked fine after that.

Had some problems getting the night sensor to work, but after trial and error found out that there needs to be a small amount of light still on and close to the sensor for it to go into night mode. I put one of my moon light right next to the sensor, someone else used the orange light from a power switch to give the sensor enough light to put it into night mode when the mains were out.

The pump is very powerful and the only way I can have it in my 55 is to put an LED dimmer on it and dial it way down.
I've had no problems with doing that, but I am going to hook it up to my Reef Angel when I get that set up and running.
Controlling the pump speed via the 5 volt control signal is better then reducing the power to the pump over the long run.

I have had several conversations with Jebao about the WP25 so if anyone has any question ask and I'll see if I can answer them.

Maybe read some more. There's several posts online about doing this for both Apex and Profilux. I did this to some of my Tunze's several years ago.

Which controller? I basically wrote the tutorial on how to do it via an Apex. I feel like I'm the only one in the world who has done it so far.

Profilux yes, but show me a tutorial not written by myself on the net on how to connect these pumps to an apex (via a 0-10v led dimmer or modified Reef Angel cable). Then try to find one on how to hook this up to a DIY 12v battery backup also not written by me. It's not as simple as the Tunze, which you just directly plug into. I'm actually interested in seeing what other profiles people are using.

I have a reef keeper elite wondering if anyone has figured out how to do it on that possibly using the APC controller module.

Yeah I followed that and a few people asked but never came across anyone saying they had.

What reef angel cable? Would be the same set up as for an apex?
Reef Angle has adapted a cable with the waterproof connection to attach to their controller.

I found a post on the Reef Angle forum that says how to adapt it to an Apex.
If you go thier and search for Jebao cable it was like the 2nd result that came up.

Announcement. One of the controller companies is now offering a stand alone WP40 with attachment cable on their web site.

I don't want to say who or give a link for fear of getting the thread closed, but this company was very instrument in determining if the WP40 can be controlled by a controller.

Ok you here is my tank (300 DD). was set up about 6 weeks ago so mostly frags but you can still tell. This was just take off my cell phone and a bit jerky. I have 1 wp40 on the left side end glass. 1 mp40 in the middle of the back glass and 1 mp40 on the right side glass. So the wp40 fights the mp40's. Wp40 in a 300 DD - YouTube
