Update!!! Heard this beaut is a hardy growing piece! Gunna try to pic one up at RAP if noone beats me to it

Super hardy. In fact, the reason garza has not posted any updates, is because I chopped his up into three pieces....lol, everyone of them lived and are growing super fast. It is a very hardy coral! We wanted to let his grow out more, but decided to have a couple back ups.

My buddys already blasted out into a colony since the release, but wont sell me a frag =/. Im litterally going to run to jf booth at rap, i dont even want to bribe him with a deposit lol

Lol, it's an awesome acro for sure. It's worth getting. How is your friends colony look in person?! I know garza's frag was amazing looking in person. Is the more grown out piece just as awesome? Colors really bright?!

Yea the colors are crazy bright, he bought a larger frag and its huge already. Ive seen the frag when he got it, but havnt ben able to get there to see what it looks like now other then pictures. The way it grows is pretty darn sweet

This is great news. The prices should start dropping as it starts percolating around.

Just the thought of 1000$ having a chance to just die and tossed in my familys tank calc reactor is driving me nuts but You kno what, i thought the same thing. But by the time that comes, by the rate these frags are growing, id have a full colony by then plus maybe would sell/trade a couple frags lol hopefully

When I cut garza's, I was pretty nervous...I mean I would feel horrible if I killed a 1000 dollar coral, and it honestly was not huge. Maybe around a inch and half max. I took the smallest piece, which was the middle, so cut on both sides. It was maybe a 1/3 of an inch, which normally I hate. But we were trying to back up his investment. Fast forward two-three months, it is covering about 1/3 of the frag disc, and is putting a little top growth on. So I think this coral will be here to stay, and will be available to all at more reasonable prices in a year. This will not be a jawdropper or a purple monster that hardly anyone has. I think this will end up being more like the red dragon.

His is t-5, and his alk I think is around 8.6-9. Mine is under 400w radiums, leds. Midway up the tank, with high flow. I actually donated my piece to a LFS, fish2morrow to grow out. I thought more people could see it, and I and a couple other guys like to help out the LFS's when we get a chance. I call it paying my rent, so I always have a place to escape to on the weekends. Haha

Dude i have no desire to buy anything else other then the. Afterparty, jd or the og rr avengers and my friend wont sell me those either ha! I got the avengers recently, a reefing buddy traded with me for it. And it's a good thing he did...his tank crashed a month later, and he lost the entire colony. But he hooked me up, so first cut on mine will be hooking him back up.

Man you have me excited. I have seen the colony that WWC has and it is a jaw dropper even in normal day lights. Such a beautiful piece.
