holy, flirking schnitt!!! :0

i'm sure that's the man himself, on the forklift. i know i wouldn't let anyone else be in charge of that endeavor. with a tank running that kind of cash, i'd stash it in a corner and sleep in front of it until i could get it home :haha:

SahWEET :haha:

It is I. No way anyone else is driving giant steel spears around my tank...

Well I am one step closer to getting this beast going. My current holding tanks are in the worst possible spot, and are keeping me from being able to frame out the remaining walls of the new fish room.

The next step was to setup the new frag system, let it run for a bit, and then move all corals and fish in, and take down the old one. I ran into $ issues, and have not been able to order the new frag tanks, but came up with a solution.

I had bought an acrylic 180 from a local reefer that was pretty beat up, which i was going to make a sump from. After changing my mind on that, it was just collecting dust.

This weekend my friend Austin (stunreefer) came over and we cut it down to only 16" tall, remounted the top, and then cut out the top like a eurobrace. I will add a middle support in a couple days, but youll get the idea.

Ordering a buffing kit today or tomorrow, and once its cleaned up, ill get it plumbed and running.

This should allow me to get the 300 going by early April if all goes to plan.

Here is the new frag system. 72" x 24" x 16"

Also have about 1000 lbs of rock for the whole system to enjoy.

The tank, sump, and frag tank should be just over 500 gallons so far.
