Before you do that, it may be a good idea to go with a black vinyl backdrop, just so you don't have to go through the pain of scraping it off again. Just a thought! Looking great!

Valspar satin black works like a charm and looks perfect

You can also look into plasti-dip to paint your tank it comes off better than spray paint if you need to remove it.

+1 plastidip for easy removal. I painted my whole stand and back glass with this stuff. 5 bucks a can at Home Depot
