Kschweer: 57 rimless build

Well it's just sitting, trying to decide if I want to drill it or not, or just go with the HOB overflow. I would like to get the normal overflow box that goes to the bottom but can't find them anywhere? Other than that talking with my buddy getting the other stuff ready, (live rock, sand, etc) that's about it.
Take a look at the synergy overflow, elite aquatics overflow or Floyd r Taylor's overflow. I'm not a big fan of the HOB overflows.

Got a little more work done on the equipment cabinet. Not too sure if I'm happy with it but time will tell. Still need to get/make some dosing containers and program the doser.

Nice bro!

Thanks guys! It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures but I painted the inside a bright blue so it isn't as dark inside. I plan on making some progress in the dosing pumps this week as well. Just need to see how work is.

I need something like that next to my tank! Very nice!
I have been meaning to do it for a long time now, very happy I did. It was pretty simple you should give it a shot.

Dosing pump is up and running. For now I'm using the alk and cal bottles for containers until I can find or make a bigger container. So far things seem to be staying pretty stable. Still fighting some Diatoms but it's much better than it was.

Looks great, love your tank!
Inspired by your cabinet, I took measurements and drew out a plan and presented it to my husband! Being the great guy that he is, he went to town and bought the materials needed! I'm keeping it pretty simple and it's more of a book shelf design with adjustable shelves and an area on the right for feeding tubes and other long objects. I might ask him to add a door later on if I decide I want it! He said he's going to start working on it tonight!

Spoiled;)

Yeah, pretty much, but I don't make him do it all alone. I can pretty much do all of it, he's just better at getting it all laid out. I use all of the tools we have, miter saw, air nailer etc... except the table saw, jointer & planer, I don't need to do that with him around!:)

Awesome! Can't wait to see it! Glad I could be an inspiration!
