Lasers 1000+ Inwall Starfire

Laser,

Not to rain of your enthusiasm to get the tank stock, but even though it is cycled there is a risk of it having a mini cycle since it is a new tank. I would go slow in the stocking process to minimize loss.

I have about 150 different varieties of SPS and around 100 different zoas so it will take me quite some time to get them all in the new tank. Will probably be staged over a 3 month window..

I have no idea how my wife would respond if I was doing this! Side note though, cheers to yours! :bounce:
Well not sure if you are into golf but that what a mulligan is all about! Let me hit it twice every time and I am a pretty good player..lol

OMG soo many gadgets and whistles.
This is making my tank look like child's play.
The speakers are a nice touch and the Logitecs have great sound.
Any idea on build cost soo far?
Just in case the wife does happen to read this as I tell her it all costs about $50.00 :lock1:

I have a new Hero…One day I Hope my 55g grows up to be like yours
Stay in the hobby long enough and it eventually will. Started with 25gal in 1987 and have progressed all the way up to 225 so this will be my final build for sure. Hmmm, it sems like I have said that for 30 years.:pound::pound:

What CA RX media did you use for the deltec? I found that carib-sea geomarine works pretty well.

I have been going with Carib-Sea coarse but not running yet. Just water flowing through. I will get my other PM2 module this week and get the reactor online.

Finally able to complete the inside wall viewing area. The woodworkers did a fabulous job matching the rest of the house built-ins. Here it is under construction.:tea:

Here it is 99 percent complete. Only thing left is another piece will be added along the top edge of the tank to cover the black steel frame of the tank itself.

The finish trim looks great. I liked your post about your hobby progression from 1987. I started in "89" but dont think I'll be switching from my 210 to a 1000G any time soon.

Also, get those corals in there. They aren't adding a bioload to that system that your chemistry will notice other than a drop in alk etc. I've built more than one insta reef but always add the fish slowly.
