Let’s see your 40b set ups!

Just started this bad boy in January and added corals last month.

My philosophy is keep it simple. Doing 5 gallon WC a week, 10 gallon sump, chaeto, skimmer and dosing two part.

Upgrade from my 29. I just cut a few frags of every coral I had and sold the rest. If these don’t make it, I have backups in the frag tank.

thanks for the shout out @BoomCorals my 40 breeder up and running about 3 years, most of the sps corals are fairly recent and just got my system dialed in to where I'm getting excellent growth. Much thanks to Matt

yeah I love the 40bs always have. I am moving my 90 reef over to a 40 then doing a seahorse set in the 90 so i'll be joining the 40br club...
so in the mean time lets keep em coming...

The 40b has awesome dimensions its wide, not too tall and doesnt break the bank to purchase. Will add a better picture of my recent build(may) after i get home and the lights are on.

I believe the size. is short for easily cleaning & wide for breeding FW fish. there is also a 30br too. here is the 40 tank sizes:
40 Breeder = 36" L x 18" W x 16" H

40 Long = 48" L x 12" W x 16" H

40 High = 36" L x 13" W x 20" H

40b mixed reef sps focus/ dominant with some lps and zoa's. Been up about a year. First two pics are older. Sorry about the white balance on the last two. I don't employ any mechanical filtration, just a big skimmer, reefbreeders led with a single t5 bulb for supplement. Diy two part and I don't remember the last time I did a water change.
