Tanks been running about 3 months. Rock came out of established tanks. Thats a c. Africanus fairy wrasse in those pics. The frag rack is just egg crate glued to an old mag float.

Is anyone using a Gyre pump in your 40b?

Looking at a maxspect or an icecap and need some of your experiences with either!

I’ve got Icecap 1k on one end of mine running at 50% with an MP-10 on the other end. Bump to 80% when I’m trying to kick everything into the filter sock. The icecap is actually quieter than the gyre’s I have on another tank.

Maybe I’ll get the 1k and keep my tunze opposite it. I just don’t want to create too much flow!
