Also have a Tunze osmolator. I’ve had it for years with no issues! I’ve used it on a 10 gallon AIO and now a 60 gallon. The metering pump failed me a bit early, but I got a second one and it has been flawless. The pumps are only about $30, so I keep a spare on hand.that’s what I use to. I think I’ve had the Same one for a long time now with no failures. Years and years of reliable service.
Love the coral variety in your tank!I started in the mid 90’s and had my tanks for 16 years. Was out of the hobby for 10 years before jumping back in last year. Pretty much still running my tank the way I did 26 years ago. No sump, I am the ato and I manually feed. I don’t dose, weekly 12.5 g water changes take care of that. The only high tech is my led’s and wave maker ( used to just have a return pump and power head).![]()

Not so pretty but just tested my parameters and they surprisingly are all good as well as all tank inhabitants. Very basic little automation. Ato and temp controller is it. Dose nopox phosphate and sunnyx water clarification with mb7.
Yours isn’t even that bad lol we all get busy. It’s amazing how fast it gets bad though especially coralline is my main problem just get lazy and don’t like scraping it off daily then it just accumulates. You got me beat! This is reality tho vs instagram…
I did take my new Tunze care scraper I bought on Black Friday out of the package today and get the blade on. That is as far as I got tho.

You had me prepped for much worse, that's not too bad. Hey, it's a busy time of year! If it were not for my magnet cleaner my tank would look like that too, and probably worse!!!You got me beat! This is reality tho vs instagram…

2hrs of scrubbing but back to clean lol
Maybe if you let it go another monthMine is still dirty, does that mean I win now?
I think there’s a correlation between low tech tanks being geared towards easier less picky corals. I just don’t really care for sps because I like movement. I only do soft corals now because I’m too busy to really put in the effort needed for anything that needs dosing regularly. Some great looking low tech tanks! Where's all the sps?
