no good picture, but it's pretty identical to your, he still with its juvenil colors

It is hard to take photo of fast moving wrasses. You need a fast camera with good telephoto lens. Can't get too close to the glass or they won't act natural.

Saw this unidentified beauty at a Petco and for $20 decided to take the risk. She’s been through QT, eats like a pig and is currently the bossy queen of my 133 gal DT (not saying much as all she has to boss around are 5 tiny chromis and three clowns.)

I THOUGHT she might be a Red Fin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubripinnis) but I’m new to the hobby and with every new thing I learn, get a better picture of how much more I need to learn.

Cirrhilabrus filamentosus, whipfin fairy. Arguably the most aggressive fairy wrasse.

Well that would explain a lot! First thing she did was go back to “clown world” (far back corner) and tell my big bossy female clown that if she felt like it, she would be turning it in to “wrasse world.”

This one I believe is C. Flavidorsalis yellow fin wrasse

That first one looks like a whip fin also but can’t really tell. The big dogs have better wrasse eyes than I.

That white in the belly make me want to say whip fin

The dorsal is too dark for whipfin. Looks like a rubripinnis or condei to me.

Second is definitely flavidorsalis.

I saw it too. The fish that I saw have spot rather than dark 1 st ray. Also the ventral fins are too long. They likely belong to the Tono or Whipfinn group and likely to be too aggressive. They have a mislabeled Sailfin male in the tank also. These females are anything but shy. You can see they are sparing with each other.
