Here is a better picture of the wrasse that need ID.

Thanks. The male picture is certainly beautiful. I am not sure if I want to put one in my DT. I saw that you have a minus sign for the species. Maybe I am going to try and see if I buy one. What is your opinion?

Is this a female pintail wrasse?

Can you get better lighting? It may be, but the color seems a little too dark to be isosceles.

I’ll try. Just got it. Ordered it online as a pintail and I wasn’t so sure myself

Do these help at all? I just got her into quarantine so she’s a little gunshy still.

Ok, thank you! They sent it as a pintail so I guess I’ll just trust their identification for now and maybe post pics as she matures :)

There's still some risk, so it is just a matter of how risk adverse you are.
That could be isosceles or lunatus, but those pics helped for sure.
Agree, and there's not way to tell one from another right now.

Good evening all,

I’m looking for positive ID on these two I think I got it but correct me if I’m wrong.

The first one is a pintail, the second is either isosceles or lunatus, depending on the caudal fin shape.

Agree; cannot determine the second one at this stage.

Ok so pic would not matter guess we will have to ID this one at a later time.

Thank you both [emoji1531][emoji1531]
