Could be either P. flavianalis or mccoskeri. I'll venture for the latter but it's not certain at this stage.

C. katoi, usually pretty aggressive.
Thanks he’s in a 190 with a yellow tang, two bar rabbit, and a pink margin wrasse. That adds to my concern as I bought a group of seven wrasses from a tank break down that are coming on Friday. Flame, Naoko, Sailfin, Solor, Kwazulu, Blue Star, and Temminck.

Eek. There's some typical offenders in that list too. The 190 might be enough space for all, but I'd have a trap ready for conflicts.

Long term is for them to go into the 580 after it’s set up. I have the 190, 150dsb sump, and a 100 gallon frag tank I can split them all up in. Suggestions?

Put the Flame and Blue Star leopard in first. Also agree with @saltyhog The Naoko, Sailfin, Kwazulu, and Temminck are going to be the issue wrasses. Good luck!

This guy is at my lfs. They say it’s an orange fin wrasse. Can’t find anything on him. Is he reef safe? Would he be ok with a Christmas wrasse in a 80g cube?

Thanks. Totally agree with you on the adults.

I did pickup, he is a model citizen. The Hoeven’s wrasse has the attitude. I like the purple gray body with a light blue jawline, looks good when the fins flare.

How about this one? It’s currently in quarantine. I bought it as a Tricolor Fairy Wrasse, but I’m thinking it’s a Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura.

I have a Waterbox 100.3, which is 36”x24”x24” (71 gallons). Should I re-home if my assumption is correct, based on my display tank’s dimensions?

Thank you!

It's a C. cf. cyanopleura. Those dimensionsare borderline, but possible for that species.

Thank you for the identification! It seems that it it would have a much better life in a larger system. I’ll likely re-home it.
