Live Sale Dead Corals

I am curious how many of you have bought a nice coral at a live sale and when it was time to ship that coral you get a It's DEAD email?
The reason that I am asking is this has happen to me on multiple occasions now from the same vendor and I have participated in many Live Sales over the Past 2 years here and it's the same vendor every time. I have not had this happen with any other vendor so I am curious if this has happened on multiple occasions to anyone else?

Should probably share the vendors name so we can all beware and not od business with vendor.
I've ordered from several named vendors now and have never experienced that minus the few that have arrived sick and ready to die.

Op says hes participated in many live sales over the last 2 years, yet he/she only became a member in January of this year? Thats 4 months here, not 2 years for those of you that are not good with math.

And the vendor was @uniquecorals , with who I have done many live sales with(this past weekend was one and my corals came in 100% as pictured), and my corals always arrive alive and well packed. This is the one vendor I have never had issue with. I'm certainly not saying people can't have issues, but UC is very reputable, and if this was taken up with them, I'm sure they would make it right.

OP if your going to call out a vendor, at least man up and name the vendor.


Also if the Red Sea thread about a broken sump got moved to vendor feedback, this thread should probably be moved there too.

Thu I agree with you that is not necessary true, you can participate in a live sale as a guest, maybe he did this.if UC is true I agree with you as I never had a issue with them and my corals always do well from them
 
Yeah didn't think of logging in as a guest, I will stand corrected on that matter.

On another note, if you werent charged, or didn't receive a dead coral, I'm not seeing an issue here other then getting an email about a dead coral that was never shipped nor charged for.

Look at post history, all UC live events.
 
If UC said it was not healthy then it was not. I called once on a cheap acro colony, and he flat out told me not to buy it
because it was struggling and I didn't have the skill to bring it around. Now I have had issues but they always make it right
