Live Sale Dead Corals

I would say those 2 corals are the same, the only difference is they juiced their photo to make it sell. I would guess the 10% was to address that. As far as the chunk... I don't see it, and because of that not even be worried about that.

The digitada on the other hand is a fast grower, and if you water parameters are decent you wont even care in 2 months time.

Hahaha I’ve looked at that coral for two months and I just laugh now. Maybe it’ll have its glow up moment one day. I’m assuming it was pulled from the ocean and chopped up because everything else is growing and looks great except for this one. It’s my ugly duckling acro. I knew I was taking my chances during the live sale so I’m not mad about it. It’s a risk you take when you buy anything online I guess. My advice would be if it looks to good to be true... it probably is!

and I did offer to return the item, Multiple times. They offered me 10% credit. That’s insulting. Why would I want to buy from their company again with credit and what am I supposed to do with a measly $15? That won’t even cover half of shipping. They came back last night with a 50% refund offer. If I’m offering to return the item they should give me a full refund. This is the second time this has happened with this company. It took me over a month of back and forth emails to get a refund on this “rainbow” acro they sold me....not during a live sale. You should have seen this acro online. It looked incredible and super rainbow and this is what I got. They said don’t worry it’ll color up bla bla bla and low and behold it’s still dark brown to this day (pic from this morning). They Charged me $110 for this thing:

I have made several purchases from Unique recently and participated in that live sale. One of my frags from the live sale was DOA and they refunded the full amount immediately so I was able to purchase a replacement. Just got the replacement today and it looks great. I have bought stock frags from them that aren't WYSIWYG and they have been much better than anticipated. I would order from them again in the future.

I have also participated in other live sales but have never gotten a response that a coral was dead before shipping. If that happened I would probably be upset for maybe 2 seconds and then move on.

I've had acros brown out completely on me in a couple hour trip home from buying them in person. And you couldn't have posted a more misleading pic than one under what seems to be basically zero lighting. Obviously two sides to every story, and here we are only getting yours. But even here, it doesn't (IMO) paint you in a good light, as you still have a coral and seemed to have expected/received a refund. You don't sound like the "valued customer" you claim to be while you complained all over an unrelated vendor's live sale. They seem to be offering very reasonable restitution. No company is perfect, but they seem to be offering reasonable solutions which don't align with your unreasonable expectations.
