This would be my vote too! I plan on putting one in my 120 when it is up and running. I think they are beautiful and reef safe too! DO IT!, get 100 of them!

I have no idea about them. I just was looking at live aquaria and came across them. If your interested some one from the fish forum might know.

Lamarck's are wonderful!!!! I have one at moment and love him!!!
had a nice one bout 6in but lots to an outbreak.... :(

In our 90gal we had a majestic angelfish. They may not be considered a reef safe fish but we had the fish no problem in a reef tank. They are under 150 and will catch anyone's eye.

How about a Copper Band Butterfly? Not "reef safe" but I have seen plenty of them in threads here on R2R that are heavily stocked with SPS and no issues.

You could roll the dice with many full size Angels, emperor, queen, blue face, etc, all under $100 typically
Where are u finding these fish for under 100? Maybe for a small juvenile. The adults are much higher

Well you can get a 3'' emperor on live aquaria for $100, for example, but there are other sites that have cheaper prices on angels than live aquaria, they just give store credit instead of cash back if it's doa. Odds are that if you want a real show piece fish for under $150 you're probably not gonna be buying a grown adult. Not to say there isn't exceptions.

To be honest with you guys most of the large Angels will get to big for a 4' 120, plus I really like my zoas and I know all the big Angels love to eat them

The only one i would try is a majestic, because i have heard quite a few cases of them not touching corals and they generally stay under a 1'

Gonna be tough to find a fish that's a show stopper that is bigger than 8 inches, smaller than a foot, under $150, reef friendly, and doesn't need a 6' tank or more.... Maybe go with something really cool on the lower end of your size desires, maybe something fancy that's 6 inches or so full grown?
