With 370,000 babies born each day, with only "a sucker is born" is not bad. I think this is a beautiful piece and could maintain value for awhile. I won't paid $1400 for one, but when it get to WD price....why not.

Supply and demand? More like the have and have nots. [emoji13] I might be one of those who think it's crazy to pay that much because I can't pay that much-lol. Would I if I could? I really don't know. I did pay $150.00 for my dog! After talking the breeder down from $300.00. [emoji38]

Prices are going up on this piece, WWC does frags 1400 - 2500. So you will be waiting a while for WD prices. Unlike the WD the seller isn't flooding the market and tanking prices.

I saw the WD go from 1k to $250 in about 4 months. I paid somewhere around $500.

The Looney has gone from 1200 to 1500 for the size frag I got about 10 months ago.

That's like any high end piece. The WD at auctions was getting $600-800 the first few go arounds then everyone wanted one so they went up to $1000, then everyone had one and they started going to $500 and lower. If it is hardy and people can grow it the price will go down. Shoot one sold for $1000 on auction. $500 less than the $1500 .25" price tag.

What people are missing about the looney that went for 1k at auction is that it was half a frag.

So someone got a $1500 or so frag, cut in half, and got 1k at auction for it. So if anything that would drive prices up.

So more like 1k per 1/8".

If it was the piece Ben was going to sell me then it was 1/2 a .5" piece. I didn't see the frag he auctioned I just heard about it.

In no way this auction piece was 1/2 a .5" piece

Haven't seen a .5" piece outside of WWC

There is only two vendors who can produce a real size frag as of today and that will be us the originator of the coral and jason fox.......everyone else is fragging their tiny buggers into microscopic super small tiny pequeno frags.

Thanks for chiming in. This is all I've been saying, no one has large frags but you guys.

From what I am reading frag plug equal to half inch, the coral is half that...make frag 0.25 inch...and you get half of the frag....equal to 0.125 inch

I asked how big it was, not how big the frag plug is. Doesn't matter if the frag plug is 3" as long as I got the correct size on the coral frag itself. I've bought from Ben for 3 years and never have we discussed frag plug size.
