You seem very knowledgeable throughout this thread; how did you learn everything before getting started?

Coral are the main thing I want in a tank--watching beautiful Coral of lots of different shapes growing big and more beautiful.

I watched a lot of Youtube videos, but I think I learned most from this forum. Huge amounts of info here, goodluck with your build and don't be afraid to ask questions. We are all here to help each other.

Thanks! I'm always worried that people will get sick of answering the same question from one nube after another, and not having a tank yet makes me feel wieder posting. Thanks for your helpful & friendly replies!

Well I went to the LFS today and picked up 2 peppermints and a box of aptasia X. I really need to stay away from that place, couldn't help myself and got a coral beauty angel too!! LOL

Where did you get the fixture?
Great idea. I ask b/c I have 2 kessil 360's on a 90g and dont get a lot of SPS growth.

Finished the light and got it hung.

Its a reefbrite supra t5 fixture. I believe. I purchased it from premium aquatics and hole sawed 4 inch holes for the kessil.

I wish mine looked pretty like that... I've done some research and think what I have are sponges or some type of mushroom. I could be wrong and mine just doesn't have tentacles yet. I'm a very new reefer that came into this reef and I find somthing new every day.

Today must be my lucky day, finally caught my Darwin clown that's been living in my overflow box for the last 2 weeks. What a pain!!

picked up this goni yesterday, finally starting to extend this morning.

I know my pics suck and its kinda hard to tell but this is the same goni about 3 weeks later.. Was pretty much white when I got it, not sure if it was bleached or starving, but now it is turning a beautiful pink, and the mouths are blue.
