Thanks Barb! I'm ordering more rock Friday from Reef Cleaners. Excited to get pieces in the tank so it looks filled out! :)

I think I'm going to need to get a small fan to blow over the water. The temp yesterday was 80 in the tank and that was when the air temp was 75-76 all day. The small body of water heats up fast with that far running. I am trying to convince the hubby to let me get an MP10 here so it reduced heat in the tank too...that's my arguement. :) They just look so nice too without the cords hanging in the water.

Mallorie, the tank is looking great with some life in it. A fan will help tremendously.

We run a fan across the 300g tank and another out in the garage for the sump. We've had temps near 100 for the past week and a half and our chiller has only turned on once (for 2 hours). That is amazing when you consider that we like to keep our tank temp at 75.5.

I am the expert of dealing with heat :) LOL
I got a clip on fan from Wal-mart, all plastic (excpet for a couple screws and clip spring) for $10. It is pretty powerful. You need that with your T5. My tank went from 86 to 78. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I will be getting a fan this weekend. Today, I bought a tailspot blenny with a gift certificate I had. He's cute and is eating food in the acclimation container. lol! I really hope it will be ok with my minimal rocks until I get my order in next week from Reef Cleaners for my rock. :)

Blenny found a little hole to stay in in the rock that I do have in the tank. Hopefully once I add a few more fish it will be less shy about coming out. I does come out quickly to nibble glass algae but is still pretty hesitant on coming out into full view. The addition of lots more rock will help I'm sure.

Hoping that the addition of more rock will help him to feel braver, looking foward to seeing pictures of him :)

Lol nice build mal.. And great pic of the hubby lol. Is that the guy with the million dollar leg?

Ok, last update for the night I think. :)

All in and cycling. I need to get more rock but I put this live rock in from my main display tank and put some microbacter in. I need to get a powerhead but the AquaClear 50 is doing a pretty good job getting flow around the tank.

Haha!! Nice pic of the hubby!! I can't get away with posting some of mine, since he watches this place like a hawk!! LOL

Tonya,
I am sure if you posted one of him before you guys went to church, more than enough people would see it before he got home to check. ;)

Well, my little tail spot blenny is doing excellent. She's so curious and cute, but still shy. I think once I get my rock in she will be a happy camper. I ordered 15 lbs of cleaned dry rock from Reef Cleaners today. Will also be purchasing another powerhead as well as a kent algae scraper. I'm going to get the 18-24" one so I can use it in my 120 so it's going to be hilarious to use in the 20L.

Also, for some reason, my SPS aren't too happy in the 20. The other corals are great but the birdsnest is always irritated when the full lights come on and my rainbow monti (OMG I put monit) is losing some tissue now. Is it possible for the light to be too intense for these guys but be good for my zoas and torch?

I need to get some pictures. Everyone is still doing great! Haven't added anything new. Corals are:

Green tipped birdsnest- $50?
neon green torch- $20
Happy PE- $45
Pink zoas- $40
Capt. America zoas- $15

Total- $170

My tailspot blenny is eating like a pig. However, she's still thin. I think she does have internal parasites. Does anyone know any foods that might help her overcome it?

Good to hear that your tailspot blenny is eating well hopefully you can figure out what to do about her not really putting on weight. How is your birdsnest and rainbow monti doing?
