MANGROVES for sale

I am tearing down my frag tank and dont have anywhere on the main tank to hang my mangroves, I am gonna try and keep one in a fish bowl. but the other two I have nowhere to put. I wanted to keep them for my new system but dont have a clue how long that will be. if someone is interested pm me. these arnt small pods, these are two year old trees, about 16 - 24 inches with several branches. these are very neat additions to a reef tank and help with nitrate and phosphate removal.

If you were closer... My tank room is finally actually moving forward and a nice mangrove or two would go great in the 100 gal Rubbermaid sump/fuge. I don;t think I'll be in the Chattanooga area any time soon, though.

I heard there was a nasty mangrove related disease that crashed it. I've been known to be biased before, though.

good grief guys dont fight, Susan if tommy backs out we can try to put them in yours, but they would probly be to tall to fit in the sump and not get to close to the light. they arnt enormous but they are tall.

and im tearing the tank down cause it is in my unheated basement, and I dont want to run a heater and halide full time just to keep a frag tank going.

Well tommy backed out!!! And not till I tore the tank down and drove an hour to his house to deliver them!! And brandon was mostly to blame as usual. LOL Jerks!!:cry:

I still like you guys even though you both treat me like crap!

Anyway, I still have two mangroves for sale, I have them sitting in my window sill, which they seem to love the extra natural sunlight. One is short and would probly fit in your sump susan, the other one is pretty tall and probly wont fit under an aquarium stand.

how much im buildeing a mud filter out of pond liner plywood and 2x4's and running one of my 800gph overflows to it with a 750gph return pump and ill be adding a 6 icnch nud bottom to it maybe an inch of sand make it 7 lol but i will still have 2 800gph overflows running through my sump instead of three and three pumps there will be 2 and 2 pumps and then a mangrove mud filter with a mH grow light or t8 florecent witchever ends up wsier lol but if susan doesnt want the small one i would like them both i would love to trade you a micro frag for them i lokked today atleast 8 full polyps and atleast 6 to 7 babies growning on the edge and its on the plug and i could throw you 5 or 10 for gas i guess lol

Just think of the micro you offered up as the dog in my example and you be able to figure out the rest.

As ussual brandon, you just cant leave well enough alone! That would be like me saying your tank is the white plague of acro tanks! shoot with redbugs, and flatworms and asterina stars what more would a nice tank have! LOL! you started it remember!

As for the mangroves, I will trade one for the micro, and will sell the other for $20. and no gas fees! LOL Although tommy can slip me the $25 in gas it costs me to drive to his house and back! LOL:tongue:

when would you like to come buy i live realy close to alex also i could use a few points in the right direction on a few things and if susan doesnt want the other i could be persuaded to get them both. and what kind of setup and lighting were u using for them. also as to the micro i believe if i can keep it alive and growing without problems it will survive just about anything lol

Brandon is just running his mouth, I had alot of acans and micros die over the last year. and even though everything is doing fine now he still likes to throw crap out there.

I dont know if you can get ahold of alex, but he is planning to come out to the house in a few hours to get a tank, if you can hitch a ride with him come on out and pick up the mangroves. I havent heard from susan so its first come first serve at this point. If you cant come maybe alex can pick up the micro from you and bring the mangroves back from my house for you? whatever works out

i would do either but i have no way of contacting him lol but what our your usual free hours i ind out about my new truck today and i could probly get a ride from my buddy or something but if alex chimes in online and catches me befor work ill send it with him and just meet up with alex after work or tomorrow something. but how big is the root ball? im trying to decide if i can use my DIY fuge i mad for my old tank to hold it

i just went and checked on the frag and started looking at it and its already almost to the size of the plug and ther are definitly 10 polyps on it and if patrick sees this and has the pick i sent home with him you could get an idea on color also alex could fill you in i would say purple and green would be the description
