Manny's Waterbox 190.5 build/progress

Dang! I did not think to remove the filter sock chamber. I might have to do that. I just watch a video on American Reef's youtube channel where Mike Paletta was taking down his 300 gallon tank. He was told to use a piano wire to cut the silicon. He used a wire cheese cutter.

I tried fishing line but it kept breaking. Metal wire would have worked but i didn’t have any

Pretty sure i am cursed. My third panel came with damage again. Unusable because the damage is too visible based on location

Really looking into a Waterbox 190 but these kinda posts keep me leaning back redsea 525 or 625XXL...lol

@Manny Tavan is the tank itself sound...are the corners done well (silicone) and protected from people like me with over jealous mag scrapers? Have you recieved a good cabinet part and got the tank wet yet?

tank quality is good. Plumbing is a lot better than red sea. Full glass overflow is nice. I hate my red sea overflow rim being covered in coraline. Silicone is high quality, on par with red sea but slightly different in design.

I am still waiting on a new replacement panel but it was delayed because I was on vacation for three weeks. It should be here on Friday though

Good to hear you like the tank...and will be watching your thread ;-) hope you get it wet soon and thanks for the feedback ;)

Nice! Congratulations!

Today was a busy day.
Set up the tank. Took four people to move it onto the stand. Then I siliconed the bare bottom starboard. Then the lights. Then the scape. Then the plumbing had to be modified to hook up to the clarisea filter roll. Almost ready for water!
