Maxspect Gyre controller wifi capable??

Thanks for the details. What has me thinking is that I saw randy@brs post a video where he was able to program his 160 tank with an apex so that 2 gyre’s work in a pattern of 90/10, 80,20, 70/30, 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, 30/70, 20/80, and 10/90%. Then the cycle reverses. I would like to do the same with my ghl controller. Just not sure what to buy to get that result using a ghl controller. Any idea?

Following thanks

Is this what you are talking about? http://www.coralvue.com/icecap-gyre-interface-module-1592 I'm interested in doing this.
Yes, those allow the gyre models XF130/230 and XF150/250 to be controlled via an external 0-10v source that many controllers can provide (Reefkeeper / Apex / GHL, etc). I am only familiar with the Apex method of programming the variable speed voltage ports, afraid I can't help for GHL. Be sure to get the module that is for the X30 or X50 series, they won't work interchangeably.

*Edit: One thing to note, if you purchase the 200 series it will require two power bricks, or that you get a barrel jack splitter harness to split the output of the single power supply to both gyre control modules. The pump that's purchasable without the controller does not come with a power supply as the advanced controller can power both gyres from the single included one. The gyre control modules each require a power input.

Thanks Kyl. I’m looking into this setup now with Carlos at CoralVue. Looks like a winner.

Appreciate the info!

Any new developments to this? Does the app now have full control of the gyres using the Maxspect hub? (not talking about the ice cap interface with Apex)

Just wanted to throw is out there, I got the ICV6 controller in anticipation of the new Maxspect Gyre 330's I'm ordering. However currently I have a pair of 230's that I'm running so I decided to give it a try. The answer is yes the ICV6 controller will work with the 200 series Gyres and can be controlled through the SYNA-G phone app.

Yeah, I’m running a 230 with two gyre’s and a ICV6 also. I like how on the SYNA-G app you can control both pumps(a and b) separate with just one controller. You can anti- sync them to run opposite, and even have “easy” programs that are pre loaded if you want to run them.
