Montipora pictures today. Notice how the red one is totally winning the fight against the Fire & Ice zoas. The difitata has healed up nicely from all the broken pieces and got his color back quickly.

Yeah, it would have been cool to have that trail of them running up the monti, but alas, it did not happen that way. The fire and ice are still spreading in the other directions so they will be ok.

I think i finally got some decent pics of a few of my new corals.... well newish. And some oldies. I just wish the purple and gold would show up in the pics the way it does in person on the torch. Its a really sweet piece.

Not sure. I put it on the zoa ID forum to find out. My lfs doesn't usually sell zoas with their names to keep the costs down. Some they do- utter chaos is one. But mostly they just sell them as no-names.

LOL!! No way! Even my $1000 camera doesn't take pictures that well...... at least not with me behind the lens.

I don't know what these other guys are doing in the photography forum that we can't do lol. They're picture are so clear you can almost see phytoplankton

Totally! I think they are cheating. They are secretly professional photographers and not telling us. Or maybe the higher one once a month to come take pictures of their tanks..... hmmm... I just had a great idea for a new business! If only I could get those great pictures, I'd make a mint!

You have a good point there, I think your right. I've even borrowed my mom's expensive camera.....to no avail lol.

just read through this thread meredith - you've had quite the journey! I'm totally impressed with your DIY skills and love that choice of color on your stand.
