UPDATE:
trim for stand purchased.
carib sea aragonite purchased. (waiting for a warm(er) day to rinse.
two 4L containers of seachem matrix purchased.
holding off on lighting and the surf4 scrubber until I'm ready to plug them in.
no point in burning up the warranty before they are ready to be used.

rinsing the sand. tell me no one uses ro water for this.
and then tell me my 700+ TDS well water is a non issue.
and after rinsing, does one let it dry before putting it in your water box of choice?

i rinsed all the new sand wednesday with my hose. no drying, straight into the tank. Everyone joined it that evening. Yes, my tank is cloudy: 1. I probably didn't rinse it long enough, 2. I 3x dosed on prodibio

I have to cover the copper pipes in the ceiling (house heating from the boiler to the base boards). there's a few over where the tank is going. during the summer the humidity get's so high the pipes form condensation, which I'm concerned might drip copper in to the tank.

went to Home Depot last weekend, got the lumber I needed for that project, but they didn't have the foam panels I want to put up. trip to Lowes this weekend.

and this part of the project I didn't think it would interest anyone.
so ceiling this weekend.
next weekend pick up the lumber needed for the stand and drop that off to my pops.
he made the stand for my 150. so I got another project for him.

Sorry a little behind, do you have a dehumidifier in your basement? I know if I did not I’d have the same condensation and dripping. Nice, love the statement, “spending my children’s inheritance one frag at a time.”

I have to run two dehumid's, usually from mid june through the end of september.
my well and boiler system are in the fish room. a lot of sweating copper pipes if I don't run them.
