Not every paly has this neurotoxin

I've read several different places that the dangerous Palys are the plain brown ones. And wouldn't you know it; those are the ones I have. I've handled them bare handed when playing with locations to make them happy. Never a problem.

I don't think it hurts to treat all palys carefully. Better safe than sorry.

I agree; best to err on the side of caution and treat them all as potentially dangerous.
