Most annoying thing your fish do ;)

I used to have:
- A male watanabei that would stare at me as I got close to the tank, wait until I opened the hood, and splash me in the face.
- A small Plesiops that would swim into the siphon tube and get stuck while I was trying to suck out detritus during water changes.
- A tomini tang that would eat out of my hand, but stab anyone else who tried to feed him.

Currently, I have a joculator angel named Photobomb. You can guess why.

You must feed often. I have the same issue. They follow me around like puppy dogs.

Currently have a Yasha goby that decided pairing up with my pistol shrimp was too mainstream and decided to instead pair up with my pom pom crab *facepalm* to the pom poms dismay.

Starry blenny can't abide snails. Most of the time he just pick them up and spits them off the rock. Flagrant violators are picked up and swum into the glass at full speed.

This^^^^^ When the reef club came over for a meeting some remarked my tank didn't look very natural because all the fish were crowded at the front glass. I told them to step a few feet away and it would look more natural.

My almost 7" Ear Muff wrasse makes it very difficult to target feed my RFA's. If I don't stand over them till they get the food completely behind a closed mouth, he will pick at them till he get's them open enough to steal the food.

My large mata Tang eats sand and then makes it snow all over my rock work and corals. Has killed multiple corals due to sand getting in them or piling up on it.

I have an alleni damsel (very colorful and peaceful) but loves to dig in the sand bed. I swear this fish will grab a mouthful of sand and purposely look for the prettiest coral nearby to spit it on!

Well, it’s not a fish. But my cleaner shrimp has some kind of an anemone addiction. I swear it is the cause of two deaths of them. He constantly irritates any coral he can.

Hello I'm new to the site and just set up my first nano aquarium. My fish aren't annoying but my hermet crabs are. They are apparently super strong and constantly knock my coral off rocks even the glued ones. I glued one several times and they knocked it off the rock with in 2 days.

I have 3 large honey damsel 5-6'' that were suiciding new fish, they would case fish to corner and push them over. Didn't know why fish were jumping, then caught them doing it. I rearranged rock and covered tank. Same 3 attack my hands/arms, made bleed few times. I wear gloves now.

And ya still have em why?

I think that one of the most annoying thing that fish do is hide all of the time. I see it out in the open for a few months and then it goes and hides. My YWG/pistol shrimp is a prime example. I saw the shrimp a few days ago, but I haven't seen the goby for months. Even when I feed the other fish. I bought them in Feb/19. I love the goby. It just sucks that I never see it.

Timely my wrasse ended up in the back chamber again.... I hate the waterbox back chamber so much. Such a **** design

Just the other day, I found my Lubbocks wrasse in the back chamber of my 32 gallon Coralife biocube. This afternoon I found a Trochus snail back there as well. No idea how they got there.

My purple tang tries to slice me every single time I put my hand in the tank. When I try to place a new frag she'll swim up and freak me out and I drop it in the sand.

What’s the most annoying thing your fish do?
For me I have a few things haha
1: one of my skunk clowns is hosting my H.Crispa while the other is hosting a Tonga branch on the complete other side of my 110g haha I really want them to pair up again
2:my coral beauty is very clumsy and any time it gets scared it swims frantically and usually bumps into a rock
3: my sleeper banded bullet goby always takes frags that fall into sand, drags them to his burrow and doesn’t spit them back out until the coral dies it’s so frustrating haha
Thankfully he’s only taken a few cheap mushrooms and Xenia frags so far

My honor hides when I come out and his favorite food doesn't even work,
