What are your favorite corals that add movement to the tank? Currently my tank is pretty boring to watch considering it is mostly a rainbow stick forest due to SPS lol.
For movement all I have right now is a GSP island, a toadstool and some gorgonians. And even then only the star polyps move a lot.

I have very little besides sps in my system, but of what I do at the moment is eight heads euphyllia. Softy side, one toadstool with huge polyp extension and a island of GSP.

If you have room I would suggest Duncan and frogspawn. This is mine :)

Agreed with above. Duncans are a staple of all my tanks, frogspawns have great extension and movement, pagoda cup corals look great as well, esp with the aesthetic of SPS tanks, since the polyps on the "cup" move but not the whole coral. Galaxea are great, torch corals look awesome.

I am just curious. How do the frogspawn at the bottom of that massive ball get any light to survive????
I forgot to mention, I have a combination of T5 retros and LEDs for lighting. T5 have a tendency to bounce off the glass and sand and upward... brs created a great video on T5 lighting versus LED on YouTube you should look it up it's pretty interesting ;)

It's simple ,cheap, and elegant in my opinion to have ... and elegance
Man I forgot about elegance corals. Yeah, done correctly and with the right coloration and placement, is very artistic and super elegant, I guess pun intended.

Have to be careful with placement however on some of these LPS. They like to reach out and sting others. Some of them have quite a long reach such as torches and hammers ;)

Yeah I know this, seen the sweepers at late trips to the LFS. I currently just have a softie/SPS tank thats doing great, especially since I've only been in the hobby since late March. Hammers are one of my favorites, especially the blue ones but I prefer to have a peaceful tank where I can just watch and not worry about stings you know? I've been thinking about putting a euphyllia in the center under an overhand and where rocks stick out on both sides so it would be a lot harder for it to sting everything
