@dadnjesse don’t mean to hijack the thread but wondering where you placed your MP40s. I’ve got a 120 that’s roughly 48x24x25 with one MP40 on the end. Was thinking about adding a second but really surprised to see four of them. Would appreciate your thoughts

I've got 2 MP40s on a 120 similar size to yours and I run them at opposite ends but offset. (1 further forward than the other) I run them via my Apex - majority of the time they're on "reef crest" and they run on average about 60%

Just checking in and seeing how things have held up running 2 mp10s on the 10mm glass.. I'm starting a lagoon 50 EXT build soon and am trying to make the exact same decision right now.

2 MP40’s all the way. Glass thickness will drive you nuts with them falling off and you will inevitably upgrade soon enough.

Just seems like a crazy amount of flow.. might go with just a single mp40. I'm planning on drilling a second return too.

The two MP10s were perfect and held up without a problem. I can’t imagine two MP40s for a such a small tank. I now have a Reefer 525 that I run two MP40s on

MP-40s for sure. Turn them down if the flow is too much. If you ever upgrade to a larger tanks you already have wavemakers.

I have two MP10s on my RSM 250...and also find that they provide more than enough flow (and are fine with the 10mm glass). In fact, I have to keep both at the lowest settings, or else they tend to just blow the fish around the tank.
