hello everyone! I have been more of a lurker on this forum since I joined but I thought I would share my tank with you guys. Please bear with me for my crappy pics! My next reef tank investment will hopefully be a new fancy camera to get those amazing shots so many of you get.

My tank is a 33 gallon rimless. 36 long by 18 wide by 12 high. It is starphire glass on all three sides. It was customed made by Great Lakes Aquariums along with the sump and stand. They did an awesome job and I highly recommend them! The tank was setup on January 4th of this year and is currently 5 months old.

Equipment
Lights: 2 ai sol super blues
Skimmer: RSM mini g
Controller: Apex jr.
Pumps: QuietOne return pump. 2 hydor nanos linked to apex jr. Vortect mp 10 set to about 70% on nutrient transport mode

Livestock
Fish: 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 firefish, 1 hawkfish
Mixed corals that include various sps, lps, zoas, palys, red bubble tip anemone, 2 maxima clams

Again I am really sorry for the quality of my pictures but I guess they are better than nothing.

I cant get a good full tank shot but here are a couple

Thanks for the kind words Rev! If anyone else has any thoughts, comments, questions, rude remarks, or any advice feel free to chime in as well!

Looks really great and congrats on the win! My only thought would be to give your glass enough clearance from rock and corals to get your scraper between. It will be hard once they grow in to get the glass clean where they are. If that doesn't bother you then no worries. Love the tank dimensions though.

Tank looks great dude.. glad your clown found them nem I think that is one of the coolest things when you look in your tank and the clowns hoasting.

I was actually just checking out that tank about 5 minutes ago haha. I think im obsessed with all those awesome plate corals that casper has! my orange plate is my first and it has become one of my favorite coral after i got it a couple months ago
Yea I like the idea when he first started his tank....I am a plate lover to!

Thanks for the congrats! basketball is almost like a religion in these parts so it was a pretty big deal when we finally won another one haha. your right about the rock close to the glass on the sides. lucky i only have like 5 rocks in the whole tank b/c they are all large rocks so moving them every few weeks to get a scrapper in there isnt too bad. We'll see if i get tired of it eventully though

Great looking tank, looking foward to seeing how it progresses.
Thanks Barb!

I didnt think she would ever find it since they arent a natural host and I think it happened by accident almost. Our power went out for a split second one day and screwed up my apex jr's setting with my ai sols and when i finally got them back on i think she got scared and all of a sudden hid in the nem. She has hardly left it since. It is very cool. Now I just wish the nem would get its bubble tips back :(

Great lookin' tank!!
Thanks guys and gals! I wish i could get some better pictures though :/ My droid phone camera and leds certainly dont mix well haha.

Awsome looking tnak, where did you get? im looking for this size tank for a frag tank for my big tank
The tank was custom made by Great Lakes Aquariums in michigan I believe. They arent the cheapest option but the quality is top notch and the tank is guarunteed for life which is nice. www.greatlakesaquariums.com check them out!
