My Miracles 150g

I believe he opens @ 1. I'm betting he was there early fulfilling live sale orders and didn't hear the knock. Sucks to hear about the frag tank though. Ill take some frags off your hands if you need a place to store them :)

Swung by Reef Paradise/ The Blue Glow today before my son got out of school, was definitely disappointed. All of his acros were either dead or bleached, everything else looked pretty good. He didn't seem to be interested in making a sale or anything though, mostly just sat behind the desk on the computer :(

Just seen this build tank looks great and looks like you have some nice coral in it post some more pics when you get of the acros your looking for

Thanks man, the tank is definitely a great quality piece in itself. I have been really pleased with Miracles :)

I will definitely shoot some pics, hopefully Andy can get some sweet acros in soon, otherwise it might take a bit for me to get the time to shoot out to Cherry's or wait on FedEx who is super hit/ miss on when they show around here IME sometimes they show early morning, sometimes late afternoon and anywhere in between.... even for priority :boom:. I'm going to go out to clio tomorrow for a few, don't really expect much from the place out there as they've never been known for much quality but maybe I can find some new fish or something lol

They are hit or miss on fish in clio I usually make the long drive to preuss for fish

Yeah not really expecting much, but I will be right there so what the heck lol Lately I have just been telling Petco what I want and having them order it or see whats on their list coming in, and take it directly in the wholesale bags when it comes in on Tuesdays. I have kind of always preferred to get fish that way anyways, one less system to potentially pick something up in by keeping them out of the fish stores systems. :) The petco here actually uses a couple decent wholesalers, its their holding tanks that suck horribly.

I'm often not extremely far from Pruess. One of these days I will shoot down there when I get some free time, its been years since I've been there too. They used to have a decent little selection of acros if I remember right.

Stopped and picked up a new fish today :)

Heres a couple phone pics, I don't wanna bug it to much with getting out the Nikon but for now:

Nice fish where did you get it from somethin's fishy? Maybe you can find some coral at the swap on Sunday if you are going

Yeah I got her from Somethin's Fishy, wish they would have had more I wanted to get like 5, leopard wrasses are my favorite fish :) I don't think I will be going to the swap... where is it even?

just went through the thread - great looking tank. I love your dog! the picture of the two laying together is precious. Your boys are adorable - I love the picture of them looking through the round glass with the ray coming right toward them. You have some great photography skills! Your corals are stunning!

Nice build. How do you like the 30" depth? any reason for not getting the standard 24" depth? What kind of lights are you running and sump set up? I'm going with miracles for my upcoming build and can't decide between 24 or 30". Love the photos!

WOW! Thank you! I am glad you have enjoyed my thread so far :) The photo of the dogs laying together is one of my favorites of them, not so much for the quality but it is just a cute picture, especially since the young pup tends to annoy the older brindle dog so it was even cuter when she was the one that decided to go cuddle up with her one cold day!

Thank you, I love my boys best thing I ever helped make :bounce:That ray pic was really cool, they had a blast and the ray actually continuously kept swimming by them like that, I probably have 20 similar pics. That tank was definitely their favorite by far!

Ann Arbor, man that sucks! I'm sure it will be a good show too. We have all our family gatherings at my house and I have been working on remodeling it for months so I really want to get the new wood floor laid in my oldest sons room this weekend..... Do you know if there are any others coming up?

Oh yeah I couldn't resist, the new leopard wrasse has been out all day so I broke out the DSLR for a few shots. I've gotta convert from RAW and upload them but should have a few shortly :)

Well, I was out and decided to stop into the fish store again... cuz well ya know I forgot to ask when they get their fish orders in lol

Picked up a sweet little Royal Flasher Wrasse I somehow missed last time I was in, and a trio of 3-4+" lyretail anthias :)

I honestly have never seen or heard a bad comment about Miracles. I have an 8 year old Oceanic 140 that I would like to replace with the same size tank, without the huge center brace and the two monsterous Mega-Flow overflows. I have always liked the Miracles tanks that I have seen, so they are who I am leaning towards when I replace the tank. Reef Savvy is also awesome, but probably out of my price range. Thanks for posting another thread from a happy Miracles owner.

Your tank and inhabitants are awesome. Following along...

Sorry I missed your post earlier. I've had 12,18,and 24" front to back depth tanks in the past, had to give 30 a shot and glad I did! Its hard to capture in my pics, but it is just insane how great the depth is! Seriously if you have the room go for it you really won't regret it IMO. Height wise I will stop at 24", I am 6'5 and fairly long arms but it can be a pain to get frags off the bottom, but I also have a fairly tall stand. Goodluck on making the decision, and thanks for stopping by. Glad you enjoy my pics :)

My sump set up is pretty simple, I made it out of a 40B, I believe there is a pic of it on the 1st page, but there is a skimmer area, a bubble trap area that I filled with rubble and seachem matrix, an open area incase I ever want to run a shallow fuge or something, and then the return pump chamber. My lights are actually super basic and not what most would likely expect on a nearly $2k tank but... they are 3 Evergrow V2 something or others that I bought off ebay for like $80 a pop, no reflectors in a DIY hanging canopy. I run the lights long ways front to back all side by side with just a couple inches between them for full coverage. I bought a few for my frag and qt tanks, liked them and said why not just run all the same lol My outer two units run blues only, with the middle one running mixed. With no reflectors it actually all blends pretty well and doesn't look uneven despite the way they are set up and I don't have a "disco effect", but I do get a bit of nice shimmer :)

Great shots man. There's quite a few people on here from NR. What is that piece above the Molly?

Thanks man! Yeah there are quite a few, figured itd be good to bring mine over here as well since it doesn't really fit the whole nano thing lol That piece is an awesome bleeding apple bowerbanki :)

Miracles is great, the entire process was a pleasure. I originally wanted a Reef Savvy tank, but they took FOREVER to get me a quote so I had Miracles give me one.... I liked the numbers and when Reef Savvy finally got me a quote (after I ordered this one) I was even happier with my decision as it was seriously around 1/2 the price. I highly recommend Miracles and will order from them again when the time comes!

Thank you! :)

Lol. Guess you can't really consider this a nano. Lol That's a great looking drink. Lol how long does it take to get that full? Miracles is going to have to start paying ya here soon. Lol that's what I thought they were. I got a red bowerbanki for $5. It started to split and change colors big has stopped. Need to hurry and find that sweet spot in the tank for it to get a good colony going.

Yeah just a little bigger then a typical nano LOL I get that much junk out every 5-7 days. I'd be happy if they just put my commission checks towards my next tank  My the color took a crap for about 6 months, really still isn't close to being fully colored up still. I think its just one of those pieces you have to be REALLY patient with. Mine is on the sand in lower/moderate flow but still probably gets a decent bit of light from the LEDs. In my frag tank it got quite a bit of light and did good but still preferred moderate flow.

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sold on the 30" depth. I like the idea of the extra swimming space that it will provide and still be able to put some nice colonies.
