Awesome setup!
I love the simplicity of it.
I have a very simple setup too.
Locals are waiting for system to crash so not many reef friends per say because I dont follow the norm.
Only 2 water changes in 15 months.
My 120, carx for ca and alk only. Dose trace daily.
Properly sized skimmer, bare bottom.
Small carbon reactor running rox0.8.
3 liters of eheim substrate pro in a bag and thats it.
Was 8 T5 now 2-250 watt MK 14k.
Alk 7-7.5
Po4 0-.04
No3 < 5
Except for higher alk, I lowered it, my system has been at these levels since startup.
4 powerheads for great flow.
How do you keep coralline at bay? I have 2 urchins and without them my tank would be purple, lol.
I used 50% live rock.

I´m following my par meter
All blues here : 45%, white : 20% and UV 90%. Green and Red = 0
I´m getting 400 on the top and 200 in the bottom.

Hi Guys,
After five years of keeping a Fish Only, I just started a new SPS tank.
This tank has 50 days and I´m keeping my alk and ca just with kalkwasser. In 2 or 3 months I think I will start with balling ( tropic Marin ) plus kalk
My setup is :
2x Hydra 52
1x Hydra 26 HD
2x T5 Blue Plus
2x T5 Coral Plus
Nero5 , Mp40 and Gyre
Viper 3.0
Skimmer octopus 1000
Apex controller and I´m dosing kalk with kamoer.
No3 = 0 ( salifert )
Po4 = 0,03ppm ( Hanna )
Alk = 7,5 ( Hanna )

I just cant beleive all the colors without a bunch of additives it looks awesome. What is your water source?
