Disaster happened, too. I had some firefish in my QT and they all died.

Picked up them up on Wednesday, eating fine so Prazipro on Thursday night. Water looked a little cloudy this morning. Came home and they were dead and the water was very cloudy. No ammonia indicated on the badge, no detectible nitrites, nitrates under 5ppm.
Not really sure what happened. Need to do more homework.

Yup. I'm a bit bummed. Haven't had the time to dwell on it yet since it was such a busy night. Just wish I knew where it went wrong.

Kinda feel like the BRS episode where there firefish all died.

Of course, I'll get one when the lights are back on tomorrow. The shape of the tank makes a FTS pretty challenging since I don't have a wide angle lens but I've been slacking that way. At the very least I'll put up 2 half tank shots so you can actually see something.
Really very proud of what I have been able to do. So much good help from the users of this forum!

Not much in my tank yet. 2 clowns, 1 royal gramma, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 anemone, and around 20 frags. Very empty for 120 gallons.

So I have a cleaner shrimp in my dt he's the only living animal besides snails and corals that is in it. I have him trained to eat out of my hand it's the coolest thing ever I should try it I use alge waffers the small ones

If I put my hand in the tank he comes to clean it. Very cool. He just molted around 3 days ago so is only now coming out again. Didn't expect him to do that so soon. Almost panicked when I saw his old shell caught up in some macro algae.

Haha I was on the couch the first time it happened and I have a lot of flow in my tank like 50to 60 times the flow and all I saw at the corner of my eye was him just flyin across the tank and then he got stuck in my closed loop intake. For like an hour it didn't move so I decided to invinctigate it and it was his molt. So I decided to throw the molt at the wife. God bless that woman's soul for putting up with me. But it was the coolest thing to see happen. I have had him for about five months and he has molted twice. After the last molt he has changed where he hangs out. Just weird little creatures.

I only wish I were retired! I'm just blessed to have a great job where I can troll this forum regularly. I average around 50 hrs a week at work along with a very active family life. It is good to be me, but I do stay busy!
