Need ideas on how to plumb my ato to the sump... Im gonna have one rodi unit solely for topoff water... so im gonna have it feed straight into that blue 45 gallon reservoir I have off to the left corner... I just purchased a tunze 3155, but not sure thats the best way to go... and Im not sure the wires and tubing will be long enough to make it where I need it... am Overthinking this one? Or will that be fine?
 
I'd probably go with a hole saw just to get a nicer looking cutout matched to the pipe size.
OR I'd not cut it at all - but put the Rubbermaid up a little higher on blocks or something.
I’ve done both options in the past - up on blocks and directly plumbed. Both worked fine. I know I’m providing anecdotal evidence at best here, and N=2 sample size :P
So go for either!

Make sure the tube where the water comes out is higher than the water level inside the barrel.
 
So basically I wanna make these jebao pumps last as long as possible... So I need 1” pvc for the DCP 10000

And 1 1/4” for the DCP 13000, disregard the 1 1/2” it says on the fitting... checked today at home depot and its 1 1/4” pvc...

Im gonna run this fitting on the DCP 10000 which is for the 4’ frag tank return which will mostly house sps...

I currently have 3/4” bulkhead fittings on both tanks with 3/4 locline fittings... is it going to be a problem reducing down to 3/4” and if so where is the best place to start the reducers for max flow?
Now on the DCP 13000 I need to add a manifold with 3 outlets on it; 2 for media reactors and 1 for my chiller... whats the beat way to run this inline with 1 1/4” pvc and keep in mind I have to reduce the lines at the end to 3/4” again on these as well... Im so confused on what to do... lol!!! Plumbing is not my favorite at all... where do I add unions? Where do I add ball valves... Here is kinda what I started lastnight, but gave up once I found out I needed to run larger pvc...

im thinking the manifold would be good running along the bottom of the tables, that way I could mount it straight to the table for support... please... any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated...
 
Reduce at the last point possible and practical. In your 1 1/4 manifold make it out of T's and then use reducer bushings. I like to go to a threaded adapter, and then from threads to the pipe size. That way if I have to change equipment down the road I can change the threaded reducer. Some times the fittings aren't at the big box store, but flexpvc.com has what you need, and they give you a pocket constitution to boot!
 
So the manifold has to be made of 1 1/4” pvc then? I cant reduce that section down to 3/4” and then back to 1 1/4”?
 
There is no wrong way! Feeding the manifold with 3/4 will reduce the flow. I would still make it out of the bigger Ts since you have plenty of room under the table. If you are short on flow you may need to upside the 3/4. I'd put valves on each outlet myself.
 
So rereading your questions, if you are forced down to 3/4 right away it would be best to increase again as soon as possible. Im not sure why you would be forced to do that but am not sure I understand totally. A restriction costs you flow, but a long restriction is much worse than a momentary one. I hope I am making some sense to you and not confusing further.
 
Gate valves give finer adjustment in my experience, ball valves are harder to adjust but get the job done!
 
Yeah... im lost... gonna be stuck on plumbing for awhile... plus I need to find the thread where they hard plumbed aquamaxx reactors into manifold... Im a mess right now... hahahaha... wow
