Ya I may not be the best painter but I enjoy :) wanted a statement piece for living room so well here I go :)

Ok last update for the diy for now till later but here is a quick update on the tank. So cycle completed and did 50% water change and added CUC all is well however I don't believe that a 50% water change is going to be sufficient at this time after a couple days water appeared same as post cycle before water change going to do 75 % water change today and see if it decreases the quick return of hazy water :) I will keep everyone posted :)

Whoops last picture lol

Here you go will have to get another one when it is darker Enjoy

How did you run the cords with the lid? I showed my mother and she wants one lol. She had a nano years ago.

The lid bottom is a plastic plant insert with a notch cut out for the cords to run threw it was than sealed to the bottom. I am trying to find a good video on dyi glass drilling so I can place them threw the lid just scared to break the lid lol

HA awesome!

I have a question and need input!!!!!
So I know everyone likes the spout but my husband had a point it takes away from the viewing area so should I put the spot in back?

I say it adds character to the tank and is definitely the front of your vase, right? I'd leave it in front as is. Besides, it doesn't take up much room in front.
