Need help bad

Cameras expose to amount of light available And I make it day time night for a living on tv. So it hard to judge par on a picture.

But yea it could have been on the edge and then just let go from lights or no or po.

Yea the over strip is totally possible but it doesn't sound like that cuz your not running anything that strong.
Did you check the ph and do you keep a basic idea of what it is?

Dosing any thing like a buffer. Are you c/a dosing yet?

My lights are a Chinese led put out 90 watts of total power for the whole 6 ft tank my coral have been fine for the last 5 months hammers and acans have around the same time in tank. I do not dose my lights don't put out a great deal of par. Even my welso brain looks sucked in. I do spot feed my sister and coral frensy.

I had a bad water prob once about about 10 months ago. Almost lost half my coral in the 30 gal. Some of the stuff was untouched.
Fortuanly for me me I had the 55. I Just put the acros back in the 30 about 5 months ago. Sudden rtn. The months zoas and a bunch of stuff was unouched.

Definitely need to feed those suckers.
Acans may not need a lot of light but 1 box over a 6ft tank is not enough. when I had the boxes I had 3 on mine also while your numbers look ok it's only part of the story since they could be fluctuating.

They'll probably be fine but if your running high light yea turn it down or reduce the time

My acans like indirect or shaded light and some organics like Red Sea "Reef Energy".

If you can, go with these test kits.
Cal - Red Sea Pro
Alk - Hanna Checker
Mag - Salifert (The RSP gives off high mag readings)
Phos - Hanna Phos or ulr Checker
Nitrate - Salifert
Just wondering is hanna checker better than salifert for alk and phos?

For phos. I'd go with one of the Hanna Checkers all the way.

The Hanna alk is supposed to be top notch too. I'm too cheap to pay for their refills.

(lol)
I use the Red Sea Pro for alk and Salifet's alk kit has got to be good.

Besides the Hanna alk and phos I'd pass on the other Hanna Checkers.

Ok. Don't under estimate them unless you'ev measured your par. They are quite birhgt. I have some. Whites are on minimum and blues 100%. They're very direct - I keep mine very high off the one tank that's mixed. I'd do like everyones saying, feed, dirty up water a little, Hannah is definitely the only "good" "reliable" PO4 test right now, and I'd put them in less light for a while and slowly move them out.

Numbers have remained the same since 2 days before and tested the day I seen it and 2 days after. Idk

So my buday came over with a par meter with lights on I got 85 of bottom and 240 up top.

Mag seems to be the most common test error acros the board.

1600 mag on Red Sea is like .25 po4 on API
Its like an error code.

But too much mag doesn't appear to be bad any way.

What do your acans prefer?
I run nitrates less than 1 ppm. A few months ago, I was attempting to increase nitrates slowly. When I got around 5 ppm, a lot of the tank inhabitants started looking bad. The acans would not open up, and I even lost a fair amount of my Hollywood stunner polyps :(

I usually run 0.25-0.5 ppm nitrates and 0-0.04 ppm phosphates. My acans are in low to moderate flow with about 100-125 PAR.

Hope that helps!

I finally figured it out

It was this douch in the fuge he goes hope my acans recover.
