Need help sick clown!!

That's not a fluke... so no flukes are present. Looks like some kind of parasite, and that video doesn't look good. I'm going to tag @Humblefish and he will take a look when he gets time later. Hopefully he can shed some light for us.

Well guys she passed about 5 hours after the dip I did everything right she was doing ok befor the dip just breathing really fast. I heated the rodi water to tank temp and used a air stone for 30 minutes and used a stop watch for a 5 minute dip and she went down hill fast after that I'm so sad I don't understand what happen these 2 have been in the tank for almost a year and nothing was added or changed just water changes and replaced the filter every 3 weeks to a month I don't under stand But the other clown was protecting her chasing the 2 chromes and shrimp away and trying to bit my hand it's sad now he is sleeping in a different spot poor guy but if I wanted to get him a new friend and of course I'm going to wait a bit to watch him but do I go bigger then him since he is the male or smaller then him this sucks so bad my 1st loss at almost a year I love clowns

Its not a Monogenean (fluke). Did you actually see this come off/out of the fish?

I'm not sure to be honest but the water was clear and clean it cloud have fallen off from the net I don't know I feel like **** cuz she suffered and I didn't know what to do but I guess it comes with the hobby I just don't like seeing stuff die in my care

Im sorry to hear. I hope we helped as much as we could. After the pic i was pretty sure it wasnt flukes. Twilliard and i talked about it and went with a parasite. Would be a good thing to have a qt tank. Even if its just a tank that you can set up fast.

Unfortunatley this is life, for all species of life. There are many things to learn from these experiences as well. I guarentee you there is noone on this site who hasnt lost fish as well so we sympathize with it. I recently introduced velvet into my tank and lost a few fish that ive had for over 2 years. Its never fun but dont be too hard on yourself, just strive to do what you can!

Thanks everyone for the fast response and help but my last question I really wanna get this guy a friend in the future but should I go smaller or bigger then him

I personaly would go smaller. The dominance of the tank from the other clown i think would step up to the new guy because hes been in the tank the entire time and he will think he is more dominant. But i would wait a while to make sure the other fish dont start to show signs of parasites since the one clown had them.
