NEM IN POWERHEAD!!

Blue tang is pulling thru. It was lifeless and motionless this morning. Then I was looking to remove it (behind the rocks) and it was gone but I didn’t see it. Now it’s swimming around looking 70%

I added a new powerhead for added sps flow and did a 3 day black out for a little bit of Dino I had. Then the lights been on acclimation mode for the last 3 days because of the 4 day blackout. I didn’t want to shock the corals. I guess I g not enough light in that time plus a change in flow made him go searching for a new spot

Man I was reading this thread like a drama novel. I'm sorry for something so unexplained to have happened. But it was cool how so many people jumped in to assist. I have never seen first responders for a reef. it was awesome to see. Good luck with bringing normality back to your system. I am now thinking twice about purchasing an anemone.

It was a drama. Just finished a 50g water change. But haven’t been upstairs to check on the tank but the water is barely going upstairs now. Just turned the pump back on

I have AWC but in this case I wanted to make sure I wasn’t taking out new water as it mixed back in with the old so I drained the sump and refilled it with new until it filled back up and then turned the pump back pn

The lights are still on their way up and the water is still “water change cloudy” but everything looks good.

I didn’t lose Dori, but the one casualty was the smaller of the 2 clarkiis. The one that mainly hosted the Nem. Everything else is lookin good thus far.

cool good to hear,clown was prob in the thick of things when it happened,on the lighter side of things clarkii are mean little buggers ,swap out the one you have and get a cool pair of designers in the future that way you don't get attacked everytime you put your hand in the water lol ,cool keep me updated

Lol naw man my clarkiis have the same temperament as the oscelaris. And they swim together no problem. I don’t like designers. I like the natural, classic stripes. Only clowns I would get tho are the mochavincis but I like the ones I got
