Aight I got that cheesy “ammonia clear” stuff in the tank. From the test strips I can’t tell how high the levels are. It only says stressed or danger. Based on the test it fell kind of in between. But losing my Dori is telling me it obviously was in the danger zone. I’m hoping this stuff helps out because the LFS opens at 11 so I can get water for a water WC. That’s a ways away smh

I keep the 2 return lines up like that for regular gas exchange but at a time like this I might as well do the power heads.

It looks like it’s starting to clear. Ima retest the ammonia level in 30 min. The fish look good right now(still sleep but some are awakening from the ambient sunlight) they don’t look too stressed. I may be more stressed lol. And you’re right. Hammer looks good again. It’s still “sleep” too as the tank lights control their awakening completely.

First time I see how important it is to have all you reefers at my disposal on here. Would of never thought to go to Walmart for ammonia products which means my tank would still be absolutely screwed until 11 but at least something positive is going on before the LFS opens. And the added input of pointing the power heads up for added gas exchange in this situation is an excellent suggestion as well. I think I’m going to pull out of this ok. Emotionally scarred tho lol cuz I really love my tank and my Nem was a favorite of mine, my wife and my kids watching the clarkiis and oscellaris host It together, But as long as the system doesn’t crash I’ll be ok.

Also, when I go pick up the water at 11, I’m thinking it would be a good idea to pick up some dr. Tim’s nitrifying bacteria just to help out with this whole situation to help rebalance everything in the aftermath of all this

Sorry to hear about this, and your tang 
hopefully all will be just fine. I would purchase some prime to keep on hand for things like this in the future. Also fwiw those jungle strips are ok in a pinch but definitely not the best. Good luck.

Before and now. Ok, I can work with that. Hittin the LFS for 55g of SW at 11 and it’ll be changed by 12. Throw in some dr. Tim’s after that and i think we’ll be ok

Blue tang is pulling thru. It was lifeless and motionless this morning. Then I was looking to remove it (behind the rocks) and it was gone but I didn’t see it. Now it’s swimming around looking 70%
