Neptune screws up again with the trident

So magically a trident shows up at my door the other day

There are 2 options to power this unit, either with an OPTIONAL power supply and Aqua bus cable or a 1 link cable

So when I read the instructions I’m thinking ok cool, I will use the one link since it comes with a 1 link cable and I have all my one link
Ports open

So then I see, they send the wrong cable

They put in the box a 1 link cable that is male on one side and female on the other

The ports on the energy bar require and a male connector , surprise surprise so are the ports on the trident

So these clowns with all the hype of this thing are actually shipping them with the wrong cable
Now I have to place yet another order wait another week to use the thing

So out of the box without an additional
Purchase there is no way to run this item

I am just floored no one else has had this issue
I tried googling it and have not found anything else
I probably have $4k in apex crap and I’m not really impressed.

FWIW it uses the same 24v 1.5a dc brick as the dos / atk.

Yea I know I stole the one from my DOS just to try it, doesn’t make me any less ticked at Neptune

The fact that they even have 2 types is insane , it should be a standard

Well, just send them a message and don't stress over it. Lots of more important things to worry about in the world than the cable. I hear and get the frustration but not a lot you can do about it other than notify them and run with it.

I'm pretty sure they are bruised two ways to Tuesday or even worse like going 1 round with Tyson. The demand for the trident is pushing the company to the limits. This will tell what sort of leadership they have in the end because it is tough when the demand is high how they recover and fix things.

Hang in there. Obviously you like the product based on the amount you have invested.

It’s like giving a kid a toy on Xmas without batteries

Wife is traveling this weekend and thought I would have the whole weekend to play
Fish tank and setup this thing. So much for that,

I did steal my dos cable for a second to try it and run a manual test.
I am pretty impressed.

Numbers seem good compared to my Hanna checkers

Also running the new V2 ATO plumbed through the walls to the basement so the tank is fully automated with a Dos doing auto water changes

Boardline taking the fun out of interacting with your tank lol
About all I do by hand is feed my pets

I don’t have a spare power supply / aqua bus.

I stole the one from my DOs just to try it but returned it to my dos so my tank doesn’t get messed up
