Neptune System Test A fail on new unit

And yes you can do BNC one at a time also to make sure that they are also flowing the proper fluid to the file and draining it

So if you are doing the prime for all of them and they all seem to be priming properly next try the reset under the initialization spot

After it is done initializing doing the trident reset now perform a manual alkalinity test by pressing The alkalinity button after clicking the gear icon next to the trident tab. The test takes nine minutes or so and after that let me know what happens.

The only other thing that I have had happen for a failed test is the Actual value of the tasks you are trying to perform is outside of the range of the trident I want to say alkalinity range is somewhere between six and 15 if you’re outside of those parameters it will read test a fail. To prove that you need to do a manual test with a different test kit that is accurate like a Hannah tester

Follow my steps in order of my posts and then let me know what happens from there

Doing a prime sample filling now

So far it looks like your unit is operating properly only thing left would be to do the reset under initialization and then I’m gonna say it’s probably your tank Values are out of trident parameters with that being said have you any clue what you’re alkalinity is with a different test kit

I will bet you it’s gunna need a calibration procedure right out the box because the peramiters are that far off outside the tridents reading Capabilities

It said I need to wait 48 hours to do so

I bought the trident because I’ve been working so much and with college starting up again I want my tank to be as healthy as it can be, picked up the 2 DOS’s too

Then click gear icon and then click alkalinity this will do manual test let it run will be 9-18min and then let’s see what it is. If still error I would do a calibration. This just happened to me the other day when I switched Regence to a new batch my calcium test be was giving me an error until I get a calibration and then it was within the parameters and gave me a value

Yes I totally understand but I think this is one of those for instances that you’re gonna have no choice The calibration needs to be somewhere in the ballpark for it to work and I think that you were just way out of the ballpark if he reset does not work I’m betting you that’s what it is

I trust you, I just didn’t know how serious that message from trident should be taken
