Definitely would be interested

Just added some more info to first post!

This is definitely going to make a splash, because of the sleek look and low profile. If this can also be controller module-less by the Apex via the new WIFI integration, it could be really big. Price isn't bad either.

Interesting. Is Aqua Illumination still part of ETM?

I believe they're still formally merged, but operate independently. If they would have used the Ecotech patent to keep cords out of the tank and added an additional wave mode or two, these could have made a huge splash overnight. I'm guessing Ecotech is reserving that patent for the Vortech line though, to keep both brands in high demand.

Sorry, I should have been more specific - I wonder if my ETM Reeflink will be able to control this pump?

Not able to aim them?
They look sleek. Cool mounting.
Might have though since they are owned Ecotech Marine they might have had the motor on the outside and made a twist on the Vortech.

looks like 300.00 bucks

I'm looking for something slim to replace the WAV pumps attached to my overflow box. I need the external magnet to be waterproof and a black impeller (not aqua).

they will work through the same AI app that is used for the lights which is a nice app, no extra hardware (ehemmm reeflink) needed. apex just upgrades their software to accommodate AI HD lights with no extra hardware, if they work the same way with the pump this will fly off the shelf. in the reefbuilders vid( great vid by the way), they show setting up programs in the app which blows the ecosmartlive version away. pity they dont just merge the best of AI and Ecotech together...

So you can control the pump from outside the range of the bluetooth like with ecosmart live?

Who says they won't? Lets see how the next month of product releases pans out!

You can control lights from anywhere with ai
