Yes, both drains are now completely drilled. Waiting on plumbers to place plastic liners, drains and float the floor with Ardex Forti Finish to create a drain beneath the aquarium stand and in fish room.

Might have to use that when I re do my shower

I was planning on getting one for the new tank. Maybe I should get it now and use it for my QT?

Thanks! I have a Foscam on my home aquarium linked to my Apex. I was thinking of doing the same thing but going with one with the zoom feature so I can check things out up close.

It was one of those weekend you wish you could take back. On Friday I got a call that my wife and kids were in a 4 car pile-up on the highway near my new office. Luckily, they wear not hurt and I was able to rush to the scene to be there with them. The car is badly damaged but my wife and kids are ok, so that's all that matters!

On Saturday I went to the office with my kids to check on my QT. When I got there I saw that the tank was completely brown and noticed that some of the fish were dead. Then I noticed a large pile of pellets in one corner of the tank. I had a Eheim auto feeder on my QT since I'm only there Monday-Thursday and sometimes on the weekends. This is a feeder which I have had on my office DT for the past 4 years and it has worked flawlessly until now. It somehow got stuck in feed mode and the barrel was spinning continuously dumping the entire cup of pellets into the tank. It had a fresh set of batteries and was set to feed once per day at noon.

I quickly siphoned out all the pellets with half of the water and poured in 6 gallons of clean salt water and added Prime and Stability. I then loaded up the kiddos and went to the nearest LFS to get another 20 gallons of salt water. The following day, I did another 5 gallon WC, so in all just over 50% WC. Now the bad part! I had lost my Achilles, Powder blue, Supermale linear and Pink tail fairy wrasse. All the other fish seemed to be doing ok except the Blond Naso which sadly also died today. I have since replaced the Achilles, Powder blue and Pink tail wrasse.
