New office custom peninsula 185 gallon build thread

Did they say what's wrong and how long it will take to recover?
The Chiro said two of her vertebrates are not staying in alignment when she tilts her head. Following her adjustment she said her neck feels less stiff. She had one or two more follow up visits and then she should be done. Thanks for asking!

My 40 gallon water tanks are in and exhaust fan was installed above aquarium to pull moisture and heat out. I have a very powerful variable fan installed so I better control the temp inside the fish room. There will also be a dedicated HVAC duct on other side of fish room. Work on the office is still going slow, so I'm hoping to have enough time to do the plumbing and set everything up before we move in less than a month.

Nice tanks, How is the QT doing?

Just received a few last minute items! Reef Octopus biopellet reactor, Neptune DOS (water changes), testing supplies, Eheim water heaters and netting kit (to make two 2'x3' nets).

More presents, Very nice.

What exhaust fan did you go with?

Sweeeeet:D

QT is once again doing good! Water still has a yellow tinge from using Bifuran to treat a persistent spot on the Achilles and one on the female Lyretails. Sloped drain under stand and in fish room should be completed this week so that I can put tank and stand in place and start on the plumbing. There have been several set backs with construction, but we are hoping to still be able to open by the 15th of next month. I'm excited about finally getting started on the tank but nervous that I may not have enough time to have it completed by the opening.

You can do it!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I really hope so. I was told drains will be completed today so I can get tank and stand in place tomorrow and get started!
awesome, it will look like some real progress with the tank and stand in place.

Yeah! Tank and stand are finally in place! This thread is now officially a tank build! I ended placing the stand on eight 1"x 3"x3" steel plates epoxied to the floor to add enough space to slope floor beneath the stand into the drain. Small emergency drain holes will be placed around the base of stand to allow spilled water to flow thru the plywood into the drain below. The Synergy Reef sump which I somehow managed not to unbox until now looks awesome! Also the holes I had pre-drilled fits the Synergy Reef 16" overflow fit perfectly. I will be flipping the sump around, figuring out the locations for everything and starting the plumbing on Sunday. However I am starting to be a little worried that I may not have enough room to fit all that equipment under the tank. Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement! Stay tuned! :)
