Sorry for the delay, by the time I got around for pics everything was closing up for the evening. I thing this might be a good selection to help fill in the tank and give you some good indicator corals for folks to help evaluate your system.

I'm horrible with names so others may need to chime in.

Pair of zoas already fragged out.

Some acans / micromusa that are in the way of my acros now.

These are starting to get attacked by shrooms and need to go.

This guy is not happy surrounded by the torches above. You can see they already offed his mate.

Some yuma's that are in need of a new home. They are dropping babies everywhere now and I need to thin them out.

Green Birdsnest about the size of a golfball.

And some montiporas that I can frag off. These can be great starter sps corals and good indicators for flow/water quality/ lighting.

Grafted monti that lost the graft, and JF slow burn.

Xmas monti and sunset monti.

And finally the dreaded clove polyps. These are the fireworks variant. If they do well they can take over a tank.

Thats why I'm setting up another now. But things are getting crowded in the meantime. When you start sticking lobo's in the corner you know you have space issues. This poor guy is not happy in close proximity to a space invaders pectina that took off for me.

Forgot this guy needs a home too. Would look really good in the sand up front.

So today the blasto is looking a little odd again. The top picture is this morning. The bottom left was when the peppermint shrimp were in and the bottom right is before the peppermint shrimp made it mad. Is there a reason why the green center has faded? Or is this normal in its recovery process? Am I just observing natural changes in the corals? I probably pay too much attention to what they’re doing. [emoji23] I’ll be able to recognize anything pretty soon.

Near the bottom. It's been in the tank for about 2 months. I for sure caught the peppermint shrimp jump on it and start picking at it. It was beautiful until that day.

Crazy busy with work! It's almost finals time! The tank looks soooo different thanks to Jdowns! When the lights come on later, I'll take some update pictures.

My clown fish are super happy. I have no clue what the white spots were. I have to assume they were sting from the corals. They swim through them all the time now.

I ended up with a deeper sand bed than I originally anticipated, so I figured I should benefit from it in the form of a goby I got some copepods yesterday hoping they can start to establish some. I'm hoping to find a really pretty blue dot goby to feast on them. If so, that will be my third fish for the tank.

I also have been looking into water filtration systems. I have a 5 stage one that I'm planning on buying either today or tomorrow. My next goal will be redoing my office... hard woods or tile... and putting in a drain in case of spills. Finally, I am going to splurge on a bigger tank! Making myself some logistical checkoffs is the only reason I'm not sitting with a much bigger empty tank and no where to put it already.

Thanks for the input! Yeah I think tile would be easier too. Otherwise, I'll have to get someone to sand down the floors so the hardwood matches with the rest of the house.

Wow! Great improvements going on in your tank.
For less glare you can always get a 7" grinder and grind the glass. It would totally remove all the glare but I wouldn't recommend it! Lol
