I picked up a monti saturday in Alabama that is green with red polyps and it puts the chilipepper and seasons greetings to shame and its not le just a piece someone ended up with. My favorite le monti right now has to be the grinch.

I am not 100% sure, but when I mentioned it to Brian J (makoJ), he mentioned that they might be the same. Fonda above said it came Rommel so who really knows. I originally thought that Brian got his piece from KingfishJohn.

Who did you get the monti from? I don't remember that one, if I'd seen it I might have picked one up myself.

Mako got that stag from me. I got it directly from Rommel at Ultimatefrags. He called it Ultimates pink stag. Not sure, what other names it has.It does best under high lighting. And a super fast grower. Just glad I finally got a frag of it back.

High light is paramount. Note the pic shown was taken under 10k and like most red stags, it does best under those conditions. It does grow fairly fast and while I can see the green polyps in my tank, the red is more subtle (call it brownish-red) in my tank. Give it time is my philosophy; I've seen big improvements as of late.

Atlantis red tabling cytharea is another nice red one. Unfortunately, my frag is a bit shaded by a mille and has lost some color.

Terribly slow to grow, but as Znut's aware, that's the way I like them.

Have you tried asking Hugo lately? He may have frags. I might have some too later in the summer now that it's taking off for me.
