Mesh lids - cost me about $800 to realize it - cant even see them

If I didn't have a canopy, I would most certainly have screens over it. I keep wrasses and they do jump from time to time.
I had a pet harlequin tusk - very tame - but he got used to actually jump out of the water - when I came close to feed him. I got a xxxxxx lid - and the next day I found he had jumped through the cover (pushed it off the tank) - and found hi m on the floor - I then bought another tusk - same thing happened after 2 days - I replaced the cover with a clear view - cant even tell its on the tank - and its mesh. Well madeWhat happened ?
