Noopsyche lights rattling noise

Glad for you. Guess the luck was no with me! Or maybe my plane hit too kuch turbulence and rattled some stuff around

I had the same rattle, I sent the video to them. They said to open it and it wouldn't void the warranty, I am keeping that email in case they change their mind. But there was a screw in mine, everything was secure and no place was missing a screw so I think somebody over there was not paying attention.

I'm voting Noopsyche was going for the BRS marketing approach, throwing extra goodies in with your purchase;Greedy

just checked 2 of 8, no rattle.
definitely wait for noopsyche to reply.

All that means is the other 6 definately have an extra screw;Hilarious

Make sure the guy who assembled your light does not help Santa put together toys for girls and boys. There may be extra parts.

I would rather that over missing parts, every large play center/toy/Baby gate we have bought in the last 2 months has been missing a part.;Bored The must have skipped the part in parenting class where they teach you how to haggle with manufacturers

Appreciate the help so off topic posts are fine lol. So i took one of them apart and can confirm it was just a screw rattling around and it does appear it was an extra screw since i cannot find any empty holes to put it in.

For anyone reading this in the future needing to take it apart here is what i found.

• taking it apart is just the 4 screws in the case and then lift the power cord out of the notch.
• I did not completely take it apart because there is a wire attached to the front panel(i assume antenna). i did not want to remove this but can get to everything while still leaving it attached.
• The inside is mostly all attached to the heat sink so not a lot of pieces to get in place which made it easy.
• The lenses just rest on the heatsink around the leds.
• The circuit board for the front panel buttons is separate and sits in a couple plastic channels. This was my biggest frustration as initially i did not see the channels for it to sit in and then the buttons were not working after i reassembled because they were not positioned correctly.

I am glad to hear that is was a very easy fix.

Now @noopsyche needs to work on QC to make sure it doesn't happen to others. Not that it's a big deal to fix but it gives a immediate negative impression of them and their product. I truly do believe their lights are great for the price, if you dont mind their antiquated controls.
