One thing everyone should have?

Umm how did you get such a clear photo lol you can’t even tell it’s a fish tank?:) And are the large purple clusters the Gucci of barnacles because I think so lol.

I couldn’t actually tell you, I just picked up the two clusters I could find at my LFS (Actually hidden in the dry display tanks). I’d just ask the LFS if they have any lurking around, the prices on those ones are much more than what I payed for 2 although I am in the UK so prices may be very different.

Luck and patience.....

Patience to go trough every ups&downs, and luck to kick in when patience is not enough....

Refugium. I have a hob on the back of my tank with chaeto and blocks for extra nitrogen fixing bacteria. And clowns with anemones. One of the reasons I wanted a reef tank was for the clowns. Hmm….and coral.

A high limit credit card....hahahaha but on a serious note I would say super glue, epoxy, patience, and time. Also a very good magnetic cleaner really comes in handy......

I figured this could be an interesting topic, what do you guys think everyone should have in their tanks?

For me, it’s got to be acorn barnacles if you can find them. They really just add a huge impact on the rocks and make it look so natural. Plus it adds a hiding spot to give certain fish more personality. I mean, this guy just looks like he wants to win hide and seek and go “Peek-A-Boo :D

WOW! I remember buying those 20 years ago for a cluster $15-$20

they still go for those prices at Myrtle Beach souvenir stands...i know cause i've been looking for a single one large enough to hide a sicce nano powerhead...and probably all over florida too...on the other hand i was in a shop in New Jersey that was selling dead coral skeletons for hundreds of dollars...stuff i paid 15 bucks for in Daytona many years ago...guess its wether you're selling souvenirs to poor people or "art" to rich people
