My sump/refugium, filtration, everything but my DP tank.I'm just outside of dallas in mesquite. Its nice to be close to at least two stores, one that I trust.
If your going to build a building and insulate it REALLY REALLY well, then I don't see much of a problem there. Your right... our winters can be just as bad as the summer here. I'm curious now. What is going to be in this building? The display and all filtration? or is this just a place to keep the filtration like a fish room?
Your right on point... the building will be right by my house. Lol actually I'm building it right on my back porch that has a roof over it. So hopefully that's gonna help a bit. I hope lolWill you bury the plumbing to keep it out of the direct sun and avoid serious heat problems? I guess it would be easier to just have the building right against your reg house so you don't have to do that. Burying the pipe would cause all kinds of issues if you need to work on it at all.

Yes. Here in Wichita Falls tx where I live, the weather can be a pain. Thanx for the reply yallNot much ppl have a outdoor system, no matter where you live.
The closed that come to mind in TX is in the garage but still need to have it temperature controlled year round.
I have my frag tanks in the garage but build an extra AC unit for it as the last two weeks were record breaking in Houston.
I will. ThnxI'd be really interested in seeing your progress and results as you get your system up and running. Make sure to start a build thread!
