Panic Time! Need Some help! Acropora Spreading Death.

Well simple really . Montipora was overtaking acros. No more montipora rofl. Drained tank torched and moved on with my 3 months everyone else lost trying to control it.

I’ve done that before with a butane lighter. Drained tank down and nuked some aiptsisa.

I actually cared for the inventer of the Turbo torch! The original design was for a jet engine but they had no propulsion and lots of heat so they made a torch that every plumber in the world now uses.

Kcl dip will kill them...2 tablespoons per gallon of dip
8-10 weeks....once a week

Or..another newer option is drain and spray kcl solution and refill tank
4 weeks..once a week. I would recommend more weeks though
when you spray with kcl solution is it the same concentration of 2 tablespoons per gallon?

The concentration I saw was like 2 grams of brightwells potassion per 32 oz or liter. I dont remember exactly, but some have used a little more than that in the solution. Just mix with tank water in spray bottle.

But it's a slurry so hints the name to get everywhere. I've tried it just don't love it. Especially if it drips on your nice mushroom.
Turn off the flow just like the original post says. Dripping it on your nice mushroom sounds like a user error to me, sorry

Coral QT getting setup this weekend.
This is crazy. I guess I've been lucky so far.
I don't know man? It's been widely documented that these f ers have survived 3 month qts with semiweekly dips. I'm of the opinion that it's a crap shoot no matter which road one decides to travel. I choose to buy from a select few who have a H E L L of a lot more to loose than me and that seems to work well. " for now " I know I'd be hot if I got em but I'd be on fire if I babysat and quarantined for 3 months without avail.

Yeah well WWC has been having problems with them for years and was probably the source. If there were such a thing as big box vendors they'd be a the top of the list.

Yes, the stuff is heavier than the water and when the flow is back on it dissipates. Just drop it on the target with no flow. If it comes in contact with something you don't want dead just blow it off.
